    • Make medical appointments.
    • Order commissary and other services.

Telephone Services

  • Each housing unit features a coinless pay telephone that inmates can use:
    • At a cost of $.10 per minute.
    • Without cost to reach legal services.

Registering For A ViaPath Online Video Visitation Account

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office now uses ViaPath for online video visitation. To get started,
please register for an account at https://dekalbga.gtlvisitme.com. Once your account is approved,
you may use ViaPath to schedule your visit.

Visitation Guidelines

  • All visitors must be on the inmate’s approved visitation list to use online (at-home)
    remote services.
  • Services are available from any internet-enabled device (computer, library, office,
    smartphone).

    • At a cost of $0.19 per minute.
  • Inmates are allowed three 30-minute remote visits per week.
  • All visits must be scheduled online at least 24 hours in advance at https://dekalbga.gtlvisitme.com
  • Telephone scheduling is not available.

Visitation Hours

  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 9:20 p.m. daily.
  • Inmates are allowed three 30-minute remote visits per week.
    • Visitor Guidelines:
      • Dress appropriately
      • Behave in an acceptable manner
      • Violations may result in restricted access
  • Visits (except attorneys and clergy) are recorded and electronically monitored.
  • Maximum security or mental health inmates cannot have visitors.
  • Special accommodations may be arranged at intake.
  • Currently, there are no on-site video visits for friends and family.
