Benefits and minimum qualifications for the position of:
SHERIFF PROCESSING TECHNICIAN
Salary Range: $24,264 - $41,808
Beginning Salary: $2,022 monthly
Employees are required to begin their county employment at the minimum salary specified for the class.

PHYSICAL ABILITY: Successful completion of a physical examination is required, upon offer of employment.
CHARACTER: Applicants must be of good moral character.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under immediate supervision, performs work of routine difficulty in completing a variety of assigned clerical tasks. Perform related work as required. Must possess the ability to process new warrants, serve bad check citations, make GCIC/NCIC entries, operate voice radio, monitor teletype machine.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED from an Accredited Agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation), eighteen (18) years of age or older, one (1) year of clerical or data entry experience, accurately type a minimum score of 35 wpm for typing and 5250 keystrokes, file accurately, operate CRT terminal, answer telephones, handle inquiries from the general public, law enforcement and criminal justice personnel and attorneys.
WORK SCHEDULE: Employees in this class are required to regularly work on various shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.
